In part two of this interview Dr. Kim explains a new technology, BTSeq™ for sequencing small genomes complete with annotated data within 24 hours. This was used in collaboration with the Korean CDC to sequence the Korean variant of Covid-19.
He also describes their NGS-based antibody sequencing platform which overcomes key issues of sequencing error, short-read length and the high-cost of gene synthesis for further characterisation. Celemics’ newly developed platform, TrueRepertoire™ enables you to sequence scFv or Fab library, analyse the entire variable region and process >10,000 clones for a single experiment.
