Ralph describes the development of a system for molecular diagnostics which fully automates the analysis process from when a swab is added to the sample tube then processed through extraction, real time PCR and data analysis/reporting. The system utilises the rapid real time PCR system developed by BJS Biotechnologies as a component of the integrated system.
